The scope features ZeroStop technology. The solution is so good, so simple and so effective. After sighting in your gun, simply set the ZeroStop, and you create a positive mechanical stopping point at your chosen zero point. Then, no matter how many elevation adjustments you make, turning the elevation knob down to the ZeroStop setting returns you to your origil zero, completely by feel - even in total darkness or while wearing gloves. No counting clicks, no need for visual reference, no wasted effort. Just an instant return to zero. Every time. Nightforce NXS scopes are one of the toughest scopes from the company Nightforce. These scopes are also the predecessors of the newer ATACR series. The eyepiece is adjustable for different diopters, and when you set the correct setting, there is a counter ring to fix this setting. Since this is set, there's no need to adjust it anymore. The reticle in all NXS scopes is set in the second focal plane, so the reticle doesn't cover a lot of the target at bigger magnifications. The lenses used in the NXS scopes are fully multi-coated for more light transmission, better contrast, and more clarity. The housing is made from a single piece aircraft-grade aluminum, are totally waterproof and filled with dry nitrogen to prevent interl fogging at low temperatures.
